Your project idea is very innovative and I’m really excited to see how you continue to develop it over the next few weeks!
To start with some of the features you have included and brainstormed that I like: I am really fascinated by the idea of a mock “Alexa” reading in the script in a robotic voice because I think it does a really good job of simulating the idea of technology premeditating our lives and how AI can be so pervasive.
I’m curious to learn more about the videos that will be playing parallel/in tandem with your simulation. How will you construct these videos? Will they be AI-generated videos or prerecorded videos? I think it could be informative to have AI-generated videos that reflect and visualize the AI conversation happening! Or maybe that is what you are already doing and I missed that!
I also think it could be cool to utilize the presentation mode in Max to make your “touch here” etc. buttons to allow for a more aesthetic visual user experience. You can add color blocks, fonts, etc. in the presentation mode which will allow you to print your messages nicely.
I really really like your project! I think it’s such a cool concept and I love the interactive component of it. The way you chose to present your project really facilitates your commentary about the “facade of choice.”
In terms of the video, did you have any color schemes in mind? I think you could drive home your point with visual cues (ie slowly losing color as the story progresses). A tangent to that — I’m not sure how doable it is, or if you even want to, but another visual cue you can add in is a “map” (basically the decision tree) that updates as the user progresses along the story line, eventually showing that no matter your choices, the ending was already predetermined.
What interactive format were you envisioning your end product would be? Since your project is like a story-based RPG, it might be cool to mimic the “game” aspect of it, perhaps giving users a joystick/controller to select options.
I’m so excited to see your final product! I think this is such a cool concept and am looking forward to seeing how you develop it!

Really looking forward to this!
