Annual Durham Bulls Baseball Outing
Each year, the Chemistry Department hosts a departmental outing to a Durham Bulls minor league baseball game.  This year, the event will take place on Friday, September 1, 2023 (Durham Bulls vs. Nashville Sounds– followed by FIREWORKS).  Gates open at 5:30pm and food will be available starting at 6pm with the game starting at 6:35 pm. The event is free for all members of the Chemistry Department and $20 for spouses, significant others, and friends (children under the age of 2 are free).

 

If you would like to attend the game, you must RSVP here (https://forms.gle/YWZq1CA2KQwcFPJt7by 5pm on August 17th. Please indicate if you can drive for carpooling or if you require a ride. Tickets will be available for pickup upon payment during the week prior to the game from any GCC Officer (Heidi Kastenholz, Lindsay Pederson, Loren Smith, Andrew Smith). Preferred payment by cash or check (written out to Duke GCC) will be accepted. Please contact an officer for payment by credit card. Questions can be directed to gcc.dukechem@gmail.com.
