Important information for International students – 05/15/24

All testing will take place online.  Please be sure to check the testing site for updates and important information.  In addition, please also review all the requirements and watch the helpful video.  All incoming international students will receive specific information from the EIS office about the exams, and a sign up link for the oral interview later in the summer.

Are you ready to matriculate?

In order for an admitted student to be officially matriculated to The Graduate School at Duke University, the TGS Admissions office must first receive copies of 1) all official transcripts and 2) any needed visa documents. As the specific documents may vary between applicants, applicants should return to their Applicant Portal and review which missing items are still marked as awaiting (marked with a big, red “X”).

Admitted students still working on their degrees should still submit their current, in-progress official transcript. Once their final degree transcript is available later this summer, they will need to submit that official transcript with degree conferred as well.

After TGS receives an admitted student’s official documents, they can then be matriculated. After 2-3 business days, the student should receive their NetID and Duke email login information.
