As an international student you must demonstrate proof of English proficiency. In order to measure your current level of proficiency, testing is necessary. Below please find important links related to this topic:

- For fall 2023 matriculants, the exams will be administered online. You will need a picture ID and your Duke NetID and password. You must take your exams within the dates and times provided by EIS and your department or program. Date: August 3-7,,2023 (writing exam) | August 10-18, 2023 (oral exam)
Time: You will receive information about the specific times once your exams have been scheduled.
Duration: 1 hour (writing exam) | 20 minutes (oral exam)
