My name is Yasmin Azizi, and I am a current junior at Duke majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology on the pre-medical track! I am excited to serve as a Help Desk volunteer to develop a deeper understanding of the impacts of social determinants of health on patients’ health outcomes and work to address them. I am also hoping to improve my communication skills, form meaningful connections with members of the Durham community, and become more knowledgeable about the community resources available in Durham. Outside of school, I am very passionate about holistic nutrition, and some of my hobbies include yoga and pure barre!
