Hi! My name is Jeffrey Yu, and I’m a freshman in Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering studying Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science. I joined Help Desk because I want to better understand how the social determinants of health influence patient outcomes and how we can work towards preventative care rather than reactive care. I’m excited to develop my communication and motivational interviewing skills while supporting the Durham community. Outside of academics, I love aquascaping, content creation, pickleball, and doing random sidequests. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in medical technology that drives real impact and change.
