Hi! My name is Lucky Annem, and I’m a freshman from Dallas Texas. I became a Help Desk Volunteer because I love connecting with people and finding ways to make their day a little easier through communication and service. Outside of volunteering, I’m passionate about addressing food insecurity—I volunteer with Root Causes, where we organize food distributions for those experiencing homelessness and work to promote access to healthy, sustainable meals. Gardening is one of my favorite ways to unwind and connect with this mission; it reminds me how small, consistent efforts can help nurture both people and the planet. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in healthcare that allows me to bridge medicine, environmental health, and community well-being.
