I’m Emma Zhang, a sophomore from Newton, MA studying Statistical Science and Global Health with a minor in Chemistry. I was inspired to join Help Desk as a Community Resource Navigator because I’ve learned how profoundly Social Determinants of Health shape people’s lives through my experiences conducting public health research, which led me to Help Desk, through which I hope I can support individuals more directly. In my free time I enjoy creative writing and cheering on Boston sports teams. I plan to pursue a career related to medicine and biostatistics in the future.
