Biology, Class of 2026
I am a sophomore at Duke majoring in Biology with minors in Spanish and Chemistry. I became a part of the Help Desk with the goal of serving underrepresented communities, particularly hoping to make a meaningful impact within the Hispanic community. Drawing from my personal experiences, I understand the challenges of navigating resources and not being able to communicate in one’s own language. My aspiration is to contribute positively to the Latinx community here in Durham, leveraging my background to give back and facilitate better access to resources. I enjoy working out, drawing, and playing rugby or soccer in my spare time. I plan to go to medical school and hopefully become an orthopedic surgeon.
