My name is Eric Lee! I’m a sophomore from Jacksonville, Florida studying premedicine and computer science. Joining Help Desk is a way for me to contribute the community around me outside of the ‘Duke bubble’. I am hoping to help those in need while strengthening my own understanding of social determinants of health. In my free time, I enjoy playing ping-pong, practicing the piano, singing with friends, and playing Mario Kart. I am particularly interested in the intersections of machine learning with psychiatric research—in the future, I hope to develop computer systems to identify students displaying signs of poor mental health to assist educational institutions.
