Biology, Class of 2025
Hi, my name is Astha and I am in the class of 2025 here at Duke! I am majoring in biology with a concentration in cellular and molecular biology, and I’m also studying health policy and psychology through minors. I wanted to become a Help Desk Volunteer to make a direct impact on the health and wellbeing of underserved patient populations right here in Durham. I am very interested in healthcare communication, and hope I will become better at this skill through my conversations with patients. In my free time, I love to spend time with my friends and family, and one of my hobbies is photography! After graduating from Duke, I hope to attend medical school and am currently interested in the field of medical oncology.
