Hi! My name is Ariha Mehta and I am a current sophomore studying Biology and Economics with a minor in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. I wanted to become a Help Desk Volunteer because I am passionate about health care equality and I believe that this program will allow me to work towards this goal. I am looking forward to learning more about the Durham community and hearing first-hand from community members about their experiences with the healthcare system. In my free time, I like playing tennis and pickleball, attempting word games on NY Times, and hanging out with family and friends! I hope to attend medical school in the future and further explore the intersection between business and medicine.
