Daniel Baldwin (Kings College London)


Daniel Baldwin completed an MSci in mathematical physics at the University of Nottingham in 2020. He started his PhD with King’s College London in February of 2021 under the supervision of Professor Bobby Acharya and he is currently located at the ICTP in Trieste. His research area is String theory and M-theory on special holonomy spaces.

Gorapada Bera (Berlin)


Gorapada Bera obtained a MSc in Mathematics from Michigan State University in 2020. In February 2021, he joined the collaboration as a PhD student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin under the supervision of Thomas Walpuski.

Gilles Englebert (Oxford)


Gilles Englebert completed his MSc in mathematics at ETH Zürich in 2020, after which he started his doctoral studies at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Dominic Joyce in October of the same year. His research area is Spin(7) and Cayley Geometry.

Dylan Galt (Stony Brook)


Dylan Galt completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University in 2020, after which he began his Ph.D. at Stony Brook University under the supervision of Simon Donaldson. His current research is in gauge theory on manifolds with special holonomy.

Dominik Gutwein (Berlin)

Dominik Gutwein obtained his M.Sc. from the Georg-August-University Göttingen in January 2021 before joining the collaboration in April of the same year. He is working as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Thomas Walpuski at the Humboldt-University to Berlin on gauge theory and manifolds with exceptional holonomy.

Aaron Kennon (UC Santa Barbara)


Aaron Kennon completed his undergraduate education at Columbia University in 2017 and is currently a graduate student in the physics department at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He works under the supervision of David Morrison and joined the collaboration in July of 2018.

Jonas Lenthe (Freiburg)


Jonas Lenthe started his PhD at the University of Freiburg in 2022 under the supervision of Sebastian Goette and Katrin Wendland. His research of interest is invariant theory of G2-manifolds and supersymmetric quantum field theories.

Jin Li (Freiburg)


Jin Li started his PhD at the Mathematical Institute of Freiburg
University in 2018 under the supervision of Andriy Haydys. His research
of interest is the moduli space of G2-manifolds.

Mingyang Li (UC Berkeley)


Mingyang Li is a PhD student at University of California, Berkeley, under the supervision of Song Sun. His research interests include four dimensional Ricci flat manifolds and their degenerations.

Hongyi Liu (UC Berkeley)


Hongyi Liu is a PhD student at University of California, Berkeley, under the supervision of Song Sun. His research of interest is boundary value problems for special holonomy metrics.

Marwan Najjar (Kings College London)

Marwan Najjar is a PhD student at King’s College London, under the supervision of Bobby Acharya. His research of interest is M-theory compactifications on G2-manifolds. He joined the collaboration in January 2018.
