Graduate student Ted Espenschied publishes article in PNAS

Working with other members of the Rawls, Tobin, and Redinbo labs, Ted revealed that delamination of intestinal epithelial cells is a protective response to chemical injury in the zebrafish intestine, and uncovered a critical role for multi-drug resistance efflux pumps in intestinal homeostasis. This paper was published in PNAS and was featured in DukeToday.
