Lisa Massa, PT, CLT is the program coordinator for the Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency program. She is board certified in oncologic and women’s health physical therapy. She has been a practicing physical therapist for over 20 years. She has presented at state and national professional meetings. She has taught at multiple universities and has research publications on a variety of women’s health topics. Her clinical areas of interest include the sexual health needs of individuals with chronic illness; physical rehabilitation and fitness for transgender individuals; the impact of pelvic radiation on bladder, bowel and sexual health in cancer survivors; and incorporation of cognitive behavioral strategies into physical therapy practice.
