Laura Schwark, PT, GCS is a senior physical therapist with Duke Health. She is a board-certified geriatric clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She received a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a mentor and co-coordinator with Duke’s Oncology Physical Therapy Residency, a staff mentor, and a clinical instructor to DPT students. She has also assisted in conducting research studies at Duke University related to improving quality of life in adult leukemia patients. Her interests are in geriatrics, oncology, acute care and clinical instruction.
