Kerry Mullenix, PT, ATC/L is a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with Duke Health and Duke Athletics. He is a board-certified sports clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He earned his Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his MPT from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is the Director of Athletic Rehabilitation for the Duke Blue Devils where he oversees six PTs working full time in Duke’s Athletic Medicine Training Rooms with the athletic training staff to serve Duke student-athletes. Kerry is a faculty member and clinical coordinator of the Duke Division I Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship. In addition to mentoring and teaching, he oversees all aspects of the division I physical therapy fellow’s experiences in Duke Athletics. In 2020, he was honored as the recipient of the Lynn Wallace Clinical Education & Professional Development Award by the AASPT nominated by the graduates of the fellowship.
