Kathy Thomas, PT joined Duke Hospital in 1986 following graduation from Thomas Jefferson University. She was the senior physical therapist who managed the orthopedic and trauma teams for many years before returning to a staff role to focus on direct patient care.  Acute care orthopedic PT has always been her primary area of interest. She has been a mentor in the acute care module of the Duke Orthopedic Residency since its inception and also mentors new staff during their on-boarding process.
