Joshua Blevins, OT, MSOT, CHT, CPAM is a senior level II occupational therapist with Duke University Health System. He is a certified hand therapist through the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and a certified physical agent modality practitioner. He received his Master of Science in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University. He is co-coordinator of the Hand Therapy Fellowship at Duke University Health System. Josh is the lead hand therapist on the Duke Health System Hand Transplant Team. He has consulted with developing hand transplant programs in North America and was an invited speaker at the American Society of Hand Therapists national meeting as well as the American Society of Reconstructive Transplantation Biennial meeting. Josh’s research interests include injured workers, amputee quality of life, professionalism, and burnout and resilience. Josh is co-author of the article “Relationships between burnout and resilience: experiences of physical therapists and occupational therapists during the COVID 19 pandemic” which was accepted for publication in the Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Journal. His major areas of practice include upper extremity trauma, amputations and injured workers.
