Jenna Austell, PT, DPT, ATC/L is a senior physical therapist and certified athletic trainer with Duke Health at the Duke Sports Science Institute. She is a board-certified sports clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. She has served as a mentor for the sports residency since its infancy in 2011 and moved into the coordinator position the following year. She served on the ABPTRFE Credentialing Services Committee from 2013-2016. She has also served as a teaching assistant in various courses in the Duke University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Her clinical interests include sports medicine and post-operative care of the ankle, knee, hip and shoulder.
