Darcy Cooper, PT, DPT is a board-certified clinical specialist in neurologic physical
therapy with a strong interest in the treatment and management of patients with
movement disorders. Darcy graduated from UNC Chapel Hill’s DPT program and has
been working in outpatient neurologic physical therapy ever since. She has
completed Allied Team Training for Parkinson’s, Advanced Team Training for
Parkinson’s, LSVT BIG, and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery certifications. She
has completed several courses on dystonia and participates in monthly
multidisciplinary conferences on dystonia in an effort to grow PT’s role in the
management of this neurological condition.
