The Duke Health Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Program has been granted candidacy status through the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education

 

Jennifer Thornton-Jones

Jennifer Thornton-Jones, PT, WCS, OncCS, CLT is a senior physical therapist, board certified in both women’s/pelvic health and oncologic physical therapy specialties. She is a co-coordinator and mentor for the Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency program and a clinical educator for the Duke University DPT program. Her areas of practice include pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum care, lymphedema and cancer rehabilitation, and sexual health. She participates in specialty projects at Duke Health System including a task force to improve perinatal care and is the lead physical therapist for the sexual health clinic at Duke Women’s Cancer Care Raleigh. She serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Women’s and Pelvic Health Physical Therapy.
