Amanda LeMarier PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist at Duke Health. As a faculty member of Duke’s Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program, she currently assists with the Cervical and Thoracic Spine sections. In addition, she assists in teaching in the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy program’s Manual Therapy Course, Foundational Musculoskeletal Course, Introduction into Patient Examination Course, Cultural Determinants of Health and Health Disparities course, and Geriatric Advanced Practice course. Amanda assists with the pre-operative Spine Class offered to patients undergoing spinal surgeries through Duke Raleigh Hospital. Amanda travels annually to Boston, MA to volunteer at the Boston Marathon to provide PT services to runners working with an interdisciplinary medical team at the finish line. She has completed a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through Duke University in 2023 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). In addition, Amanda is a member of the Diversity Network Council (DNC) through AAOMPT. Amanda is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and a member of the APTA. She is also is a certified Mulligan Practitioner, United States of America Weightlifting Level 2 coach, and Dry Needling Certified. Amanda received a Bachelor in Exercise Science from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2013.
