Amanda Beaty, PT, DPT is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist working in outpatient rehabilitation at Duke Health. She is a graduate of the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Duke Health’s Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency program. Amanda has clinical interests in neurodegenerative diseases, especially ALS and MS, as well as stroke and vestibular rehabilitation. In addition to her role as a residency mentor, Amanda serves as a mentor to new PT staff and enjoys teaching in both clinical and classroom settings.
