9AM-10AM: Keynote Speaker, Wesley Wade CCMHC, LCMHC, LCAS (open to all)
Wesley holds two master’s degrees from North Carolina Central University and has been featured on NPR, PBS, and CBS News in relation to his background in business, higher education, mental health, and substance use work. While working as a career coach at a land grant university in North Carolina, Wesley co-created and led Students Moving Forward, an award-winning career-focused program for autistic college students in North Carolina from fall 2017 to fall 2021. While leading Students Moving Forward, Wesley also created and led the North Carolina Autistic Career Summit; served on planning committees for state-government programs offering paid internships for autistic college students; and began working on his Ph.D. at NC State University in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development with a concentration in Counseling and Counselor Education.
Currently, Wesley is a Ph.D. candidate working on his dissertation observing how racism, ADHD, and autism influences the workplace wellness and career aspirations of Black adults.
Lastly, Wes is a proud late-diagnosed ADHDer and a self-diagnosed autistic and dyslexic professional who runs his own private practice where he provides mental health counseling, career coaching, and consulting services.

Harvey Bracken-Smith
Harvey Bracken-Smith is currently a sophomore studying at Duke University. Harvey is the Host of Personable a podcast focused on speaking to the World’s best in their given fields with past guests including Founders, Athletes, Actresses, and more.
On campus, Harvey is the Co-President of Duke Rugby, the Vice-President of Shave & Buzz, and is involved in the European Business Society, Creator Lab and Scale & Coin (Duke’s Premier Business Society). Harvey is an ambassador for the LouLou Foundation a charity founded by his family dedicated to empowering elite young athletes to become the best they can be by connecting them with the right financial resources and social connections, and The Draft an ecosystem of opportunity releasing end of 2024.
Past work experience: Trading Intern at Bell Rock Capital Management (Hedgefund), Summer Analyst at Bell Rock Capital Management (Hedgefund), and Intern at Dorilton Ventures (Venture Capital)
Harvey was diagnosed with Dyslexia at 14 and ADHD at the late age of 18. Having spent most of his life not knowing about his differential way of thinking he is now determined to help others discover how they see the World so they can become the best they can be.
Jadyn Cleary
Jadyn Cleary graduated from Duke University in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Platform Design with a focus on Accessible User Experience. Jadyn’s self-designed major integrates UX design and disability studies to support users with disabilities, including hearing, vision, cognitive, and physical impairments. She is employed as a Senior Research Data Technician at Duke’s Department of Population Health Sciences where she is currently focusing on designing decision aids for veterans in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Shruti Pandey
Shruti Pandey graduated with a Master’s degree in ECE in 2023 and is currently working as a Data Scientist at CVS Health. Duke is the reason why she got diagnosed with ADHD and has been involved with Neurodiversity Connections since then. Outside work, she can be found in the library looking for cozy mysteries.
M. Paola
M. Paola (pronouns: she, her, ella) is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Duke University School of Medicine. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As a Latina, queer, neurodivergent immigrant from Venezuela, she is deeply committed to exploring and learning from others with authentic curiosity and celebrating our differences as strengths.
Stephanie Robertson
Stephanie Robertson is the Assistant Dean for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Her work focuses predominantly on creating and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion programming and cultivating a culture of empathy and support. At Fuqua, she’s fostered heightened awareness and created structured spaces to learn about individual, institutional and systemic inequities, equipping participants with tools to actively advocate against biases. She is dedicated to empowering individuals to be their authentic selves and activating allies who support, protect and celebrate others’ identities. Stephanie is also a dedicated mental health advocate. She is a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor and leads the MHFA efforts at Fuqua. Through this, and other initiatives, her goal is to normalize conversations around mental health challenges and give students, staff and faculty the tools needed to effectively and safely support their peers and colleagues and create a stigma-free environment.
