The Duke Quantum Center and Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo will host NACTI 2022 on August 1-4 at Duke University.
It will bring together the North American and international ion-trapping community following a two year hiatus. The conference will highlight various scientific fields covered by trapped ion research and encourage fruitful exchange between junior and senior members of the different groups. Topics include:
- Scaling and architectures, including networking
- Fabrication and development of new traps, increasing accessibility
- Control hardware and software for trapped ions
- New qub(d)its and gates
- Quantum computing & simulation employing ion trapping techniques
- Beyond atomic ions
- Precision measurements & clocks
