The Duke Quantum Center and Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo will host NACTI 2022 on August 1-4 at Duke University.

It will bring together the North American and international ion-trapping community following a two year hiatus. The conference will highlight various scientific fields covered by trapped ion research and encourage fruitful exchange between junior and senior members of the different groups. Topics include:

  1. Scaling and architectures, including networking
  2. Fabrication and development of new traps, increasing accessibility
  3. Control hardware and software for trapped ions
  4. New qub(d)its and gates
  5. Quantum computing & simulation employing ion trapping techniques
  6. Beyond atomic ions
  7. Precision measurements & clocks
