Morgan Bailey, 5th Year Ph.D. Student, morgan.a.bailey@duke.edu

Morgan uses energetic-based proteomics to characterize different biological phenotypes and disease states. Additional interests include elucidating biomarkers of intrinsic resistance to chemotherapy treatment in patient derived colorectal cancer cell lines using various proteomic and data analysis techniques.

Yun’s work uses mass spectrometry-based proteomics to identify age-related protein hits. She is also interested in post-translational modifications in proteins and their impact on protein function.

Grace (Bertles) Sturrock, 4th Year Ph.D. Student, grace.bertles@duke.edu

Grace's work utilizes mass spectrometry-based proteomics to determine the direct and indirect protein targets of Cu and other metals under conditions of cellular metal stress to further understand and elucidate their antimicrobial capability. Other interests include utilizing histidine hydrogen-deuterium exchange (HDX) mass spectroscopy techniques to evaluate the association constants and binding stoichiometry of metals to proteins on the proteomic scale.
