FEMMES+ Connect is a student-led educational outreach program mentoring local middle school and high school students in STEM fields. This mentorship program pairs 7th-12th graders with two Duke students to work on a yearlong research project virtually. We host a welcome event/activity in the fall for mentors and mentees to meet and connect. There is a closing ceremony in the spring when students have the chance to present their research and celebrate their work! Both events taken place in-person on Duke’s campus.
