Supporting Duke’s Climate Commitment, the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute at Duke University is working to support a growing network of scholars, professionals, and community organizers dedicated to understanding environmental and climate issues, especially their effects on people and places in Asia.
Collaborating with local hosts, faculty from around the world will convene to explore how critical research practices, by scholars and others, can contribute to the collaborative effort to deepen understanding of shared environmental agendas and for pursuing a more sustainable and equitable world.
