Beginning the Spiritual Journey…Orientation-style

If you’re going to go on a spiritual journey with someone, you’d generally like to know something about one another.   College is, in many ways, the start of a new journey into a foreign land.  How you live together, work together, play together, and pray together during that time shapes the kind of journey you will take.

I hope that you will join us for one (or ALL) of the orientation events listed below to get to know those who are excited to travel with you on this wonderful adventure!

  • Coffee, Convo, and Jazz August 26th at 8:00pm
Join us for a night of conversation and jazz at a local downtown hot-spot the Beyu Caffe. Get to know other Presbyterian students, learn your way around Durham, and enjoy great music and fellowship.  Meet at the ECBS at 8:00!
  • Westminster Welcome August 28th at 7:00pm
Meet us on the chapel steps for a relaxing evening of games on the quad before school begins. Find out about opportunities to be involved in Westminster Fellowship, to explore your faith and make new friends.  Stop by on your way to the acapella concert or stay for the evening! Come if you’re a committed Christian or just curious!
  • Reality Ministries August 30th at 3:45
Looking for a way to volunteer and be involved in Durham? Join us at a local ministry that reaches out to Durham’s youth through games, sports, tutoring, and fellowship.  Meet at the ECBS at 3:45 to walk together!
  • PCM Movie Night! September 2nd at 8:00pm
Take a trip to the North Carolina Museum of Art for an outdoor showing of The King’s Speech with friends.  Meet at the ECBS at 8:00pm to ride together.
