After your volunteering trip (within 24 hours), the person who paid for the Lyft/Uber ride must complete this form ideally within 24 hours of your volunteering trip. Please include a screenshot of your receipt that shows a map of the drive and the last four digits of your credit card. Payments must come from debit or credit cards; Venmo or PayPal payments cannot be reimbursed.
To sign up for direct deposit, please go to DukeHub and go to the Financials tab. At the bottom of the list click “Direct Deposit of Refunds.”
If you’re not signed up for direct deposit, you can still get your checks mailed to you but it will take longer than if you sign up for direct deposit on DukeHub, which deposits into your bank account after around 2 weeks. Also, please note that Duke does not reimburse tips on Uber/Lyft, so those will have to come from you if you choose to tip.
