Medical education is a key part of providing patient treatment and care. This includes everything from training medical students and residents to teaching the latest advances and treatments to the current generation of clinicians. Our faculty provide this education to audiences throughout the Duke University School of Medicine. We provide education to:
- Medical students, through pre-clinical and clinical education programs
- Internal medicine residents, through in-patient hospital medicine and outpatient ambulatory care
- Clinicians and faculty, through our master’s-level clinical research training programs
We also partner with other programs and schools within Duke, including the Duke Clinical Research Institute, the Durham VA Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care and the Duke University School of Nursing.
