Dear Colleagues,

The 2025 Duke Industry Statistics Symposium (DISS2025) was successfully held in Durham, NC, from April 9 to 11, drawing over 250 participants. On behalf of the Steering and Organizing Committees, we extend our sincere thanks to our keynote speakers, invited speakers, discussants, panelists, short course instructors, poster presenters, session chairs, and our industry and non-profit partners for their generous support and contributions.

We are pleased to share that the Journal of Biopharmaceutical Statistics (JBS) will publish a special issue titled Driving Clinical Research Forward with Advanced Statistics and Data Innovations: Biostatistics in the Age of AI/ML. Dr. Haitao Chu (Pfizer) and Dr. Zhaoyang Teng (Astellas) have kindly agreed to serve as co-guest editors for this special issue.
