We are dedicated to interrogating data, using a cell to society approach, to analyze and discover the drivers of cancer and cancer disparities in our catchment area and beyond. The CREST infrastructure provides empirical data for measuring the impact of DCI activities on reducing the burden of cancer, and to inform areas of emphasis for community-DCI partnerships.
DCI Scientists, in partnership with community members, are actively engaged in research examining, monitoring and addressing the multiple causes of cancer disparities. These research studies are aimed at reducing the burden of cancer in communities in our catchment area and beyond
