COEE Team Members
The Community Outreach, Engagement, and Equity (COEE) team at DCI is a dynamic group of community-facing patient navigators, program managers, and analysts. COEE facilitates bi-directional engagement of 7 DCI research programs, 12 Disease Groups and 5 Interdisciplinary Centers in addressing catchment area (CA) priorities through inreach, such as community engagement training, COEE pilot grants, community scientist roundtable panels, as well as continuous monitoring of cancer burden in the CA. COEE also promotes sustained engagement and support of cancer-related health needs in diverse CA communities through outreach via community partnerships including cancer screening, health fairs, community health ambassadors, and community-facing patient navigation.
