Elizabeth is a first-year Master of Environmental Management student with concentrations in Coastal and Marine Systems (CaMS) and Community Engagement and Environmental Justice (CEEJ). She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies at the University of Washington, where her research centered around culturally relevant environmental education and multi-sector collaboration to equitably reduce marine plastic pollution. She also specialized in environmental storytelling as a Ranger Naturalist and a Divemaster on a Seattle-based scuba diving team. She is interested in equity in marine protected area implementation and other forms of community-based management of marine resources.
