I find your project’s idea to include both procedurally generated drawing as well as taking in human input to a really interesting choice. It definitely does the job of correctly portraying the human mind’s state of having the idea to do a certain action or think about a certain thing, then is influenced by either his/her own experiences (in this case, I mean the accumulation of personal experiences that shaped the person to what he/she is at the current moment as well as the environment in which the individual is located within). The outcome can become something that is entirely different than the original expectations.

I find your project on max to be really interesting. It seems like its going to be tough job to figure out how to effectively achieve what you said in your presentation correctly, but I definitely think the inclusion of more color and more ways the procedurally generated results would distort what the user wants to achieve. This may be rather difficult to achieve, but maybe adding more filters in the background that change depending on the given input with the matrices feature and overlay on the drawing screen would emphasize more on the idea of the mutation of what the user originally wanted to draw. Else, if its not too difficult to implement, I believe it would be interesting to include some audio feature within the project. Perhaps a normal audio sample at the beginning, such as a music that either the user can select or of your own choice, and have the audio mutate (as in distortion) according to either the user input, or the procedurally generated art (whichever is easier). In the worst case, you can simply let it mutate according to a random variable modifier.

That is all I can think of, I think your project has great potential!
