Registration for Summer Camp 2015 is now closed.
Summer Camp 2015 will be held on Duke’s campus from Monday, August 17th to Friday, August 21st for rising 4th, 5th and 6th grade girls. The camp is free, but we ask that participants attend all five days of the summer camp. We will provide a light breakfast, but we ask that participants bring a sack lunch to the camp everyday.
Due to strong interest in the summer camp, the summer camp is now filled, and we no longer have any remaining openings. We are currently processing the registrations we received and will be contacting parents soon regarding application status. If you completed the registration by May 11, we will be confirming your daughter’s attendance or placement on the waitlist in the next few weeks following receipt of her legal release.
Even if your daughter was unable to participate in the summer camp, definitely look out for other upcoming FEMMES programs. FEMMES runs a Saturday program at Duke University in the fall and spring, offers After-School Programs at a few local Durham schools in the fall and spring, and will have our annual Capstone Day at Duke in the spring.
All applicants are required to mail in a physical copy of the signed legal release form. If you have not yet done so, the legal release form is available to print here: Legal Release – English or Legal Release – Spanish.
Legal releases should be mailed to:
FEMMES c/o Moeko Nagatsuka
749 9th Street
Durham, NC 27705
The deadline to submit the form and postmark the legal release is Monday, June 1st.
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we receive both the online registration form and the legal release.
Please direct any questions or concerns to FEMMESatDuke@gmail.com. We look forward to having your daughter join us this summer!
