Dr. Susan K. Murphy, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Chief of the Division of Reproductive Sciences in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center. She also holds secondary faculty appointments in the Department of Pathology and the Division of Environmental Science and Policy in the Duke Nicholas School of the Environment.
Dr. Murphy’s lab focuses on using in vitro and in vivo models to explore how early life and preconception exposures affect the epigenomic health of offspring. They are particularly interested in understanding whether these effects are passed down through generations and how epigenetic deregulation is linked to neurodevelopment and disease.
