WP Activity Log Now Available for Duke WordPress Sites

As part of Duke’s ongoing efforts to strengthen website security, OIT Software Licensing has made WP Activity Log by Melapress available to the Duke community.

The plugin was evaluated by a collaborative working group consisting of the IT Security Office (ITSO), Duke Web Services, and distributed WordPress administrators from across Duke. Following testing and review, WP Activity Log was selected as the standard solution for WordPress activity logging and auditing in support of Duke’s updated security requirements for WordPress websites.

WP Activity Log provides visibility into administrative actions and site changes, helping support security monitoring, incident response, and audit capabilities. WordPress site owners should review the software and begin planning for implementation as part of their site’s security program.
