On Friday, November 1, 2024, RESILE’s Dr. William N. Ferris will serve as a panelist at the Duke Environmental Law & Policy Forum (DELPF)’s 2024 event, focused on North Carolina’s Coastal Area Managment Act (CAMA).
Dr. Ferris will serve as a panelist in the Coastal Management and the Economics of Coastal Resilience, alongside NC DEQ’s Tancred Miller and RTI’s Jessica Wilkinson.
Per event organizers, “Please join the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum (DELPF) for our annual symposium in Law School Room 3043. This year, our topic is North Carolina’s Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA), which is celebrating its 50th birthday. We will hear from speakers on the history of CAMA, coastal management in North Carolina, the economics of coastal resilience, and community and ecological adaptation in coastal communities.
