RESILE Affiliates David Brown, Dan Vermeer, Manuel Adelino, and Aaron “Ronnie” Chatterji co-host “From Billions to Trillions: The Inflation Reduction Act as a Catalyst for Private Investment” at Duke Fuqua School of Business

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, the Center for Energy, Development, and Global Environment (EDGE) at Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business will be co-hosting “From Billions to Trillions: The Inflation Reduction Act as a Catalyst for Private Investment” at the Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business. Other co-hosts include Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability, Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business, and Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in conjunction with the Duke Climate Commitment.

The event will shed light on the following questions:

  • What are the enablers and barriers to vastly increased private sector investment in climate solutions in the United States?
  • Have the Inflation Reduction Act and other government investments changed the game?
  • What is the return on investment for climate solutions to investors, businesses, and society?

EDGE is led by Faculty Director David Brown, who is a Professor in Decision Sciences at Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business and by Executive Director Dan Vermeer, who is a Professor of Finance at Duke University – The Fuqua School of Business. Both David Brown and Dan Vermeer are Duke RESILE Faculty Affiliates.
