I graduated from the University of Florida (UF), majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics and a certificate in Sustainable and Resilient Energy Engineering from the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.
I was a member of several student and professional organizations including the Solar Gators and the National Society of Black Engineers. During my time at UF, I was awarded with the Horatio Alger Engineering Scholarship and the Duke Energy Scholarship.
In summer 24′, I participated in the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He worked on the First Solar Thermal Energy Planner (STEP1), a decision support tool to help industrial companies decarbonize their existing processes using solar thermal technology.
In summer 25′, I became a GEM Fellow, working with Corning Inc. to incorporate AI into their manufacturing and documentation processes.
After starting my master’s degree at Duke University, I cofounded a medical technology company and will soon launch an app focused on standardizing eye and eyelid measurement.
In my personal time, I am an avid traveler and have studied abroad twice during my time at the University of Florida. I also enjoy working out and cooking for friends and family.
