GUI and App Designer
Our Project
Our team is seeking to develop a phone/tablet application that can be used by oculoplastic surgeons for the clinical evaluation of ptosis (colloquially known as “droopy eyelid.”). The application will provide physicians with a standardized, reproducible method and tool to assess eyelid function, which is crucial for diagnosis and determining surgical candidacy.
My Contribution
Together with Dionni Campbell, my task was to code the app, create the GUI, and build the raspberry pi phone. Our goal was for any random person on the street to be able to use the app effectively within seconds based off the in-app instructions and intuitive UI alone.
