Our team is grateful for the IT support of Mark Hipps-Figgs. On a typical day in the office Mark manages office moves, tech recommendations, purchases, installs, reimages, new employee setups, support calls, hardware issues, and tons of other work we’re not even aware of. He does this not only for our team, but for several other areas as well, which requires a very high degree of organizational skill.

We can always rely on Mark to be prepared for any situation, whether it’s a last-minute office move, a sudden need for a back-up laptop, or help with an idea on a new or different way to use software. When the pandemic was unexpectedly added to his juggling act of daily responsibilities, Mark managed smooth transitions for faculty and staff from the office to our home offices in March 2020 and remained a constant pillar of support during the unsettled months of 2020.

Thank you, Mark, for your seemingly effortless work, for being the backbone of our team, for your incredible competence, for facilitating continuity of our tech operations, for always having our backs, and for always making us look sharp!
