Where will the hackathon be held?
The hackathon will be held November 3-5, 2023 in-person at Duke University. Please check the schedule page for more information about specific locations by time.
Is this hackathon in-person?
Yes it is! We expect all participants to be on site for at least the kickoff and judging portion of the event.
What is the application deadline?
October 27th at 11:59pm
How much does it cost?
This hackathon is a free, in-person event open to students from any university in the US.
How do teams work?
Teams can be formed before or during the event. Teams can choose any one of the tracks available on the About page.
What if I’ve never hacked before?
We hope you’ll choose us for your first hackathon! This event is open to students from any major, and has a beginner track for new hackers. We are encouraging students from both technical and non-technical backgrounds to attend. We will provide helpful resources to help get beginners up and going.
Will this event reimburse my travel?
Unfortunately, Duke and the event sponsors will not sponsor travel to and from the event.
