The General Management Club is a professional club on campus and is the best resource to prepare students for cross disciplinary management and leadership roles. Companies that sponsor the club and recruit on campus span multiple industries and give Fuquans a wide breadth of experience to prepare them for senior management positions. The club boasts a strong alumni network comprising (but not limited to) managers in leadership development programs, operations, corporate relations, project management, human resources, and corporate strategy roles. The club is active throughout the entire year, fulfilling its mission by:
- Educating students about what “general management” includes,
- Preparing members for stages of the recruiting process, and
- Training students to succeed in those roles.
Many Fuqua students choose to recruit across industries, and the General Management Club also plays a critical role in their general management recruitment process as well. Active engagement with the General Management Club is a major factor in recruiting success. The GMC also partners with other clubs on supplemental events that support the mission of the club and the field of General Management, but primarily provides dedicated events and programs to all students whose primary focus is General Management.
Mission Statement: The General Management Club aims to be the most valued resource for Fuqua students who aspire to build careers in general management by providing information, education, career preparation, and access to various transformative opportunities.
