Have Compassion and Patience

Compassion and patience are needed to encourage the FASD student. Teachers must remember that these students want to comply, yet their disabilities may interfere.

She let me go at my own pace and said not to worry about keeping up with the class.
(Copeland and Rutman, 1996)
