The Franklin Center is on the northwest corner of the intersection of Trent Drive and Erwin Road, near Duke Medical Center and the VA Hospital.
Getting Here
This area is considered Central Campus, and, approximate walking time from Duke’s West Campus is 10 minutes. The Duke C4 & C5 bus stops are on Trent Drive just on the other side of the intersection, stopping in front of Trent Hall & Hanes House.
There are also several public bus lines that stop within 2 blocks of the Franklin Center. The TTA (Triangle Transit Authority), DATA (Durham Area Transit Authority) and Bull City Connector bus lines service this area. Parking
Visitor parking is available at several locations near the Franklin Center, particularly paid weekday parking in the Medical Center Parking Garage II on the same block (enter from Elba Street).
Speakers and Presenters may be designated a Reserved Parking Space in the Franklin Center Parking Lot with advance notice.
